Need your container delivered and picked up on the same day

If you need same-day delivery and pick-up of your container due to a tight moving schedule, HOA or local restrictions, or simply because it fits your plans, Express Service may be right for you.

Here’s how it works: On your scheduled date, your PODS driver will deliver your container to your home in the morning. You'll have at least three hours to load your belongings once the container is delivered. After three hours have elapsed, PODS will return to pick up your container. If you're moving locally and are ready to move the container to your new location right away, we'll take it to your new address. If you're moving your container a longer distance, we’ll store it at one of our +250 Storage Centers, prior to transporting your container to your new address.

Can I request a specific time for my container delivery?

With Priority Scheduling, You can choose the time for the delivery window for your container. PODS offers three-time windows to make your move easier: (A) Early Morning, (B) Morning, or (C) Afternoon. Please keep in mind that PODS cannot guarantee a specific time, due to factors such as traffic, weather, and other circumstances.

Are Priority Scheduling and Express Service available at every PODS location?

Availability for these services varies by market. Contacting our Customer Care Team today at (855) 706-4758 will allow PODS to better accommodate your request.

Can I select Priority Scheduling for different legs of my move?

Absolutely! Priority Scheduling ensures that your container arrives or is picked up within your chosen time window, whether at your starting address, destination address, or both.

How early should I book Priority Scheduling or Express Service to make sure I can get the service I need?

We recommend scheduling your Priority Scheduling or Express Service as early as possible. In many areas, providing at least 10 days' notice helps secure your preferred timing. Certain regions may require more advance notice, so reaching out to our Customer Care Team today at (855) 706-4758 will helps us to better accommodate your request.

How does Priority Scheduling work if I have multiple containers? Can I arrange to move one while keeping the other?

If you have multiple containers, you can still take advantage of Priority Scheduling Options and choose the delivery window for each container. Priority Scheduling offers you the flexibility to move one container while keeping the others at your home or driveway.

Please note that availability varies by market. Please review our 'Container Placement Checklist' to ensure that PODS can deliver your container(s) to your desired location.

Are there additional charges for using Priority Scheduling and Express Service?

What is Express Service and how does it work?

With Express Service, your PODS container is delivered and picked up on the same day. Your PODS driver will deliver the container to your home in the morning. You'll have at least three hours to load your belongings. Afterward, if you're moving locally, we'll transport the container directly to your new address. For longer distances, we'll store your container at one of our +250 Storage Centers before delivering it to your new location.

What if I purchase Express Delivery Service but I run out of time?

If you purchase Express Service but are unable to finish loading your container within the provided time, don't worry. Contact our Customer Care Team at (855) 706-4758 to schedule another pickup time.

Requests for rescheduling must be arranged through our Customer Care Team. Please note that rescheduling is subject to availability. By calling us as soon as possible, we're better able to accommodate your request for your reschedule.

Please note that service fees will still apply if sufficient notice is not given, as our routes are planned based on your Express Service request.

How much notice do I need to give to cancel my Priority Scheduling and Express Service to avoid a fee?

Can I cancel the Priority Scheduling part of my move while keeping the move itself? If so, how much advance notice is required?

You can cancel your Priority Scheduling service at any time. However,  to cancel your order without incurring charges, please contact us by 4 p.m. local time at least three days before your first container is scheduled to be delivered/picked-up. What happens if my Priority Scheduling time is missed?

Occasionally, we may encounter unavoidable traffic conditions or inclement weather, which may cause us miss your Priority Scheduling window. If this happens, please contact our Customer Service Team at (855) 706- 4758, they can issue a refund for your Priority Scheduling service fee.
